Peter Emsky of Fall City leads Sean Wittmer of Seattle and Jeff Washburn of Yakima in the Expert Men's crosscountry bike race in Roslyn, Wash. Riders in the Expert race rode four laps on the 4.5 mile trail, with 800 feet of climbing per lap. Race director Dan Norton said more than 150 riders participated in the two-day First Annual Mountain Bike Festival, in short track races on Saturday and crosscountry races on Sunday.
